Welcome to the new website for the Judiciary of Guam!
Honorable Katherine A. MaramanChief JusticeWe are excited about the redesigned information hub, which reflects the Judiciary’s ongoing commitment to transparency, accessibility, and ease for all -- be they self-represented persons, lawyers, vendors, students or members of the community, including individuals with disabilities. Court information is now easier to find, understand, and use. But rest assured, our work continues as we engage in ongoing efforts to finetune and improve how we deliver court services to the people of Guam.
The Unified Judiciary of Guam includes both the Supreme Court and the Superior Court of Guam; together, they serve as the island’s appellate, trial, small claims, traffic and child support courts. Our responsibilities go beyond deciding cases; we oversee the administration of the courts, regulate the practice of law and attorney discipline, and manage programs that support public safety and rehabilitation, including probation and treatment courts. We also provide jury services, maintain court records, ensure language access for court users, and offer public information and self-help resources.
And the backbone of all these services are the dedicated public servants who make up the Judiciary -- our judges, clerks, court reporters, interpreters, law enforcement officers, IT staff, and many others who work every day to support our mission of delivering justice fairly and efficiently through transparent, inclusive, and accessible court services. Our vision and commitment is to be a model of excellence—trusted, innovative, and independent. I hope that, as you navigate through the website, you gain a better understanding of the many ways we achieve justice in Guam.
Most importantly, I hope that you find helpful and user-friendly information and resources. But if you cannot find what you need please use the Contact Us portal so we can reach out to help you.
Thank you for visiting our website!
